Privacy

What Pixelbrain does with your information, in plain language. There isn’t much of it.

Who we are

This site is operated by Pixelbrain Studio Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. Pixelbrain® is a trade name of Pixelbrain Studio Inc.

This policy covers the website at pixelbrain.io. Any app published by Pixelbrain Studio Inc. carries its own policy, linked from that app’s App Store listing.

The short version

We don’t run analytics. We don’t use tracking cookies. We don’t sell or share your information, and we don’t build a profile of you. The only information we hold is what you type into a form and send us deliberately.

What we collect

When you send a message

The contact and support forms ask for your name, your email address, and your message. We use them to read your message and reply to it, and for nothing else. That’s the only personal information this site asks you for.

When your browser loads a page

Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. Every web server does this. We use it to keep the site up and to investigate faults, and we don’t connect it to anything else about you.

What stays on your device

If you switch the site between light and dark, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under pb-theme. It never leaves your device and it isn’t a cookie. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Who else sees it

We keep the list short and we don’t add to it quietly.

Vercel Inc. hosts the site and processes the server logs described above. Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers form submissions to our inbox. Google LLC provides our email, so your message sits in a Google Workspace mailbox once it arrives. Each is a processor acting on our instructions.

All three are based in the United States, which means information you send us is transferred there and handled under that country’s laws.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Messages stay in our email for as long as they’re useful for the conversation and our records, and are deleted when they aren’t. Server logs are kept by our host on their own retention schedule, typically a matter of weeks.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@pixelbrain.io and we’ll respond within two business days. There’s no account to close and no mailing list to unsubscribe from.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you’re in the UK or the EEA, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in.
