AquaEye
A digital-first rebrand and full website redesign.
The Challenge
AquaEye had developed revolutionary sonar technology that dramatically improved search speeds and accuracy in water rescue scenarios, but their brand identity and digital experience failed to reflect the life-critical nature of their product.
Rescue teams and procurement leads found the previous brand and site unclear, making it difficult to grasp the device's features and design integrity, key to earning trust in life-saving situations.
AquaEye needed a complete brand and UX overhaul to project industry leadership, innovation, and reliability while seamlessly driving users toward relevant product insights and demo conversions.
The Solution
We partnered with AquaEye on a discovery-led engagement grounded in customer insight and iterative design. We began with user research and deep team interviews to uncover what customers truly valued, surface AquaEye's unique market advantage, and shape a clear brand positioning around it. From there, we explored hundreds of directions across logos, marks, type, and mood boards, until we landed on a bold visual identity that instantly signaled credibility to rescue professionals.
Next, we redesigned the site from the ground up, rethinking the architecture, flow, and how users moved from discovery to purchase. We clarified product positioning, streamlined content hierarchy, and prioritized focused calls to action. The result was a simpler, more intuitive way to understand a technically complex product, with subtle animations and interactions guiding users through key features and specs.
The Outcome
The new brand and website have transformed how rescue teams discover and evaluate AquaEye's life-saving technology. The cohesive brand identity and intuitive site experience have significantly improved clarity and trust among first-responder audiences, with internal stakeholders reporting a dramatically simplified path to purchase.
The site now serves as a powerful marketing and sales asset, reinforcing AquaEye's position as the category-defining standard for water rescue sonar. Most importantly, the brand now matches the gravity and life-saving potential of the technology itself.
